Great application! But something's wrong with the rpm's supplied on that site. When I add them to our local yum repository and then try 'up2date --nosig gvidcap xvidcap' I get: [...] Fetching rpm headers... ######################################## Name Version Rel ---------------------------------------------------------- gvidcap 1.1.3 fdr i386 xvidcap 1.1.3 fdr i386 Testing package set / solving RPM inter-dependencies... There was a package dependency problem. The message was: Unresolvable chain of dependencies: gvidcap 1.1.3-fdr requires xvidcap xvidcap 1.1.3-fdr requires gvidcap and on the other hand, if I try to use the rpms directly, I get: rpm -ihv xvidcap-1.1.3-fdr.i386.rpm gvidcap-1.1.3-fdr.i386.rpm error: Failed dependencies: gvidcap conflicts with xvidcap-1.1.3-fdr xvidcap conflicts with gvidcap-1.1.3-fdr Weird. Do they depend on eachother or conflict with eachother? David
