i have a stupid question, what app do i use to burn cds? i would like a gui (just cuz their eaiser) to be able to burn audio cd's, data, ETC. any dependencies i'll have to consider?
If you don't mind Nautilus and installed all the packages for it, please see this article. http://fedoranews.org/contributors/ken_vandine/nautilus-cd-burning/
Nautilus uses the ftp:// or html:// style Urls for samba = smb:/// and cd burning burn:///. If you already have an ISO, just right click on an ISO file and select burn. CD-R/W disks may require other avenues.
You might want to check out many of the other useful articles at http://fedoranews.org/contributors/. Many are short and sweet.
I hope this helps.
"yum install k3b". Enjoy! (Search the archives if you have any
further questions about it -- chances are they've been asked before).
thanks guys i'll give it a try!
