Re: FC2 3d acceleration- fglrx / nforce2 issues.

Ok, I compiled the fglrx-4.3.0-3.9.0.i386.rpm and it seems to give a
cleanish compile but upon modprobe I get a segmentation fault I'd send
you the whole error message except I can't capture it on stderr and it
only appears when I'm running from a command line (ie runlevel 3).

Once I do a modprobe and get my segmentation fault I can't remove the
module as the kernel says it's in use.

Everything I tested I've done from the command line, I'm starting to
think that there is some sort of subtle incompatibility with my
motherboard chipset (nforce 2) and my video card and linux.

I also compiled and installed a vanilla 2.6.6 kernel with the
appropriate agpgart as both in the kernel and as modules. When compiled
as part of the kernel I get a "Can not load agpgart" X error message
along with the fglrx error messages.

Here's the rpm log for good measure, as I say it looks good but I get a
segmentation fault from modprobe when I try to install it.
