Problem upgrading from RH 9 to FC2 in a Dell Precision 610

Hello all,

I have Dell Precision 610 with an NVIDIA card that was running Redhat
9. I upgraded to Fedora Core 2 but when it was going to reboot it
output some garbage characters (non letters), printed the "boot:"
prompt and then printed "Loading RedHat9_smp_New..." and kept
rebooting again and again after that doing the same.

I found a sort of similar problem in the mailing list related to VIA
C3 processors and ASUS P4P800 motherboards but nothing related to
Dells.

Any one with ideas? Any help is appreciated.

One more thing, if I press "enter" after the "boot" prompt I get the
"Loading RedHat9_smp_New...." message and the machine hangs there.

Jorge.
