Alexander Bear with me 'Cyradm --user cyrus localhost' brings a prompt for 'IMAP password'. I enter the password xxxxx which I created 'passwd cyrus' I get the 'Login failed: generic failure /usr/lib/perl5/site/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi/Cyrus/IMAP/Admin.pm line 118' This region of the perl script has something to do with overheading. Therefore I cannot yet authenticate -- no connection to the server And cannot create mailboxes... I am so close; could you help me a little further? Thanks; you are very kind Tom -----Original Message----- From: fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Alexander Dalloz Sent: Tuesday, June 22, 2004 3:35 PM To: For users of Fedora Core releases Subject: Re: Cyrus-Imapd and Cyradm Am Mi, den 23.06.2004 schrieb Tom McLoughlin um 0:53: > When I type cyradm I get a "cyradm > " prompt but by typing cm to > createmailbox I get " createmailbox: no connection to server". > > I thought that Sendmail and Cyrus-Imapd were configured correctly and up > and running.
