But if I run XMMS first, and then try: xine Vidclip.avi Xine will run and play the audio, but no video. It seems to be having the same problem as mplayer and ogle, but doesn't display an error... just ignores the video. I haven't tried xine with a DVD because I've never been able to get the plugins sorted out with it.
