Eric:

I use J-pilot for my Pilot Tungsten. In order for you to get it working
do the following:

yum -y install jpilot

(this will install the J-Pilot gui)

Next you will need to know which port your syncing from ( I'll assume
USB port 1) so you will need to create a sym link for /dev/pilot

ln -s /dev/tty/USB0 /dev/pilot

Now you can start J-Pilot and select

File --- Preferences --- Settings
and make sure that the device conduit is set to /dev/pilot

Then you can go back to J-Pilot GUI and select the Sync button. You will
need to press the HotSync on your Palm for this to work ( I know in
Windoze it's done automagically).

That's it... It will even set appointments for you in Evolution and add
e-mail addresses...
