TV-Time "No Signal"

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings,

Trying to get TV-Time to work is proving to be pain-full.

I have an Msi-TV Master with MPEG-4 decoding,

It auto-detects in fedora2 and seems to be working with cx8800 driver
loaded succesfully,

With Xav and TV-Time, I get a veryfuzzy image more like a ghost and it
can't really be seen.
In TV-Time regardless of whether I use the cable or broadcast option,
The signal detection returns a no signal on the OSD.
I have run a custom scan which scans all the frequencies. But still get
no signal message in the OSD. I have switched off the signal detection
and then you can see the basic images of a some channels but it is very
fuzzy. I think that the fact that I have this no signal message has some
thing to do with it, any ideas how to fix this. I have tested the card
and arial input on my winXP (My PC dual boots) and it works fine but I
want it on linux :-).

I have also looked at tvtime.net but there isn't much on my problem
litsed there.

Any one here have an idea?
