Mike, was this package ever in testing?  I thought that was
the original intention.

Yes, this is "xinput script not run, needs to be renamed to xinput.sh"

Also I just filed "xmbind script needs to be renamed to xmbind.sh"

for openmotif.

Alternatively you could of course rename "xinput" to
"xinput.sh" and likewise for xmbind.
