update kernel

Hi,

After running the red hat update agent, it appeared that a new kernel is 
available (2.6.6-1.427) and I have the 2.6.5-1.358. If I agree to do the 
update what happen with hte modules I installed for the old kernel? Do I have 
to install them again?? I am talking about for example the NTFS rpm that I 
installed a few days ago for the 2.6.5-1.358. What will happen with that? 
Will it stop functioning?
