The only Well there is one big difference between RH and Sun, the product of the RH work is GPL'd. So we must give them credit for that, they can't really be evil and the worst that can happen is their stuff gets ignored or they go bust and people can continue to build on their work. That's much better than Sun. > And I dont like the 'influence' that they seem to have over what will > be in Fedora or what wont be in it... Seems we are now the (free) > testing grounds for RedHat products. Yeah. They have complete control over what is in Fedora, not merely influence. I track the development branch on several machines here so I am not so disturbed by being a testing ground myself. That seems to be the take-it-or-leave-it deal, and RH are spending the money on it so it is tough to say they are unfair with that. But still it is not a great deal under all circumstances. - -Andy - -- Automatic actions for USB cameras, cardreaders, memory sticks, MP3 players http://warmcat.com/usbautocam -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAyK3LjKeDCxMJCTIRAuw9AJ9L9oYYtZwjCJwP3ZvsuBE6CcHU9gCgisBH dUs12M1YYw5011rgxWNhhQg= =A33t -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
