Hi to all, I've just buy an Epson CX3200 multifunction printer. I choosed this one because linuxprinting.org say it's supported, the same xsane.org. Printing it's OK but i cannot use the scanner. Here some message from console: ----------------------------------------------- sane-find-scanner # No SCSI scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that # you have loaded a SCSI driver for your SCSI adapter. found USB scanner (vendor=0x05a9 [OmniVision Technologies, Inc.], product=0x0518 [USB Camera]) at libusb:001:003 found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8 [EPSON], product=0x0802 [USB MFP]) at libusb:001:002 # Your USB scanner was (probably) detected. It may or may not be supported by # SANE. Try scanimage -L and read the backend's manpage. # Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports can't be # detected by this program. ----------------------------------------------- scanimage -L No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages). ----------------------------------------------- xsane tell me there's no scanner. I use FC2. Thanks.
