I guess only the RH people can say they are getting paid to find out where the 
problems are coming from :-)

IIRC Arjan made a bug in just that version that killed X, you should have 
better luck with 422.

What is your video card and what driver are you using?  I read just now some 
people with the same troubles with nVidia/nVidia binary driver... consider 
falling back to the opensource nv driver which I have been using for some 
time with minimal troubles (fullscreen xv is noisy being the worst).  No 3D 
or multihead tho.
