Try cpuspeed -h to get a short explanation of the commandline parameters.
'cpuspeed -d' followed by 'killall -USR2 cpuspeed' sets your CPU to the
lowest supported clock speed, 'killall -USR1 cpuspeed' sets it back to
normal speed.
