well I dont know the rest of it but I use and external serial modem. for a while. Im gettign them on ebay but this might not be the best idea. lucky I have an old slow modem that I test with. but then i used my slot for a happage tvcard. Side note for now I just use vsFTP and ssh. to do a lot of what gets done.
