It's a motherboard, and the FC2 kernel reboots when trying to install to it. There is a fix though; download and boot from Arjan's fixed boot image: http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/asusp4p800-boot.iso Bugzilla entry: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=121819 Same thing with the VIA C3 motherboard: http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/c3boot-2.iso Bugzilla entry: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=120685 Yes, I think these are both blockers for a release, but hindsight gets you nowhere. Both bugs provide an interesting+educational read on what you can do to prevent such things slipping into FC3. Anyhow, Randy and others: Searching through the mailing list archive and/or the Fedora bug tracker would both have led you to the solution. Please keep that in mind for the future before going on a rant ;) Regards, -- Tarjei
