Sorry to repeat myself, but does anyone have a machine with this card (or board) running at 1024x728x16bpp (or better)? Or 1024x480x16bpp? It used to run at the latter resolution on my Sony C1VFK Picturebook (notebook) under FC-1 with XFree86, but it doesn't seem possible to get up to 16bpp under Xorg.
