That's probably it, Most likely I hit <alt>+<F2>suT where I have an script in my path named suT #! /bin/bash kdesu konsole Which I like better than su at the "konsole" command prompt because I set up different background colors for my root account, And NOT having a "paper" background in a konsole window reminds me not to use it genericly... Actually if you happen to know how to get kdesu to start with roots $PATH do let me know... It's interesting to note though that while it doesn't set $PATH to roots login path, It does set $HOME to /root, and uses roots terminal color settings... But as far as the script goes, it's a moot point as long as I can remember the interactive sequence... - -- | --- ___ | <0> <-> Joe (theWordy) Philbrook | ^ J(tWdy)P | ~\___/~ <<jtwdyp@xxxxxxxx>> ############################################################## # You can find my public gpg key at http://pgpkeys.mit.edu/ # ############################################################## -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAvn9cRZ/61mwhY94RAon0AJ4+SCNWhrI09NMxe7y5LJCSvVDa0wCgnOkq zGqz/O3S8vfsYED81pyrQPU= =8LRp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
