When installing Core 1 from either DVD or CD, they both boot until the screen reads:
Running install
Running/sbin/loader
Then the installation halts. Please can anyone help.

On a notebook ? Maybe the installer doesn't like your LCD screen. Use "linux text" to install. Later it should work...
