Driverloader 8K kernel and ntfs driver

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings,

Just installed Core 2 on a laptop where it coexists with Windows XP. It surprised me to find that there is no NTFS read support built in. I downloaded the drivers available at linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net which worked fine. However, when I then installed the Linuxant 8K kernels for their driver wrapper to get my Centrino wireless working, the NTFS driver broke because the kernel version changed. I then tried to recompile the NTFS driver but that failed.

Anyone who has both the Linuxant driverloader AND the NTFS driver working on Core 2?

Regards,
