But today I found out that appending psmouse.proto=bare makes the mouse not jumping around on screen and generating random clicks. But, unfortunately, now the scroll wheel doesn't work (see my other posting from tonight). I'm still investigating the problem. But nevertheless thanks for the tipp!!
