Do I need to upgrade to FC2, or should I just try to fix my X problem?
My videocard as Windows recognizes it is Intel(R) 82865G Graphics
Controller
with 64MB of Memory. The monitor is recognized by Windows as a "Plug and
Play monitor", not very useful.
Ahh, well, I never used FC1, so I may be of limited help here...
But try to set DefaultDepth to 16 in Section "Screen" in the xfree86
config file:
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen0"
Device "Videocard0"
Monitor "Monitor0"
DefaultDepth 16
Maybe this helps ...
What is your color-depth in windoze ?
Cheers,
Hannes.
err... have your tried:
system-config-display --reconfig
?
Cheers,
Hannes.
