I run KDE and invoke gnome-settings-daemon at startup to set up the fonts for programs, in particular Mozilla and Evolution, that take their font control from the Gnome font control system. The first time either of these programs is invoked, it produces an error box with the message shown below. Apart from the message the programs seem to run OK; the gnome settings daemon starts, and both Mozilla and Evolution display the desired fonts. Succeeding invocations of gnome-font-properties don't produce an error. Does anyone know what this message is about or what to do about it? Here is the error message: Error activating XKB configuration. Probably internal X server problem.
