Hi,
I have a laptop with a mouse that was difficult in earlier kernels. The fix for me is to add:
psmouse.proto=imps
to the boot arguments. Note that the bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=120859
says that
psmouse.proto=imps2
^^^didn't work for someone. It works for me without the '2'.
