I installed apt that is ok:

# rpm -ihv apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc1.dag.i386.rpm
warning: apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc1.dag.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY,
key ID 6b8d79e6
Preparing... ################################## [100%]
   1:apt ################################### [100%]

Then, I tried using apt to install pine, but got some error:

# apt-get install pine-4.58-1.rhfc1.dag.i386.rpm
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Selecting pine for 'pine-4.58-1.rhfc1.dag.i386.rpm'
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gimp: Depends: gimp-print-plugin but it is not going to be installed
  redhat-config-printer-gui: Depends: redhat-config-printer (=
0.6.79.5-1) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or
specify a solution).

I tried -f, th sme. Something wrong? Could you help?

Thanks!

Hongwei

Use Dag Wieërs' FC1 yum/apt repository to get Pine built for FC1.

It is directly downloadable from:
http://dag.wieers.com/packages/pine/pine-4.58-1.rhfc1.dag.i386.rpm

However, I would recommend using yum/apt to install.
