It would appear that on May 5, Chris Kloiber did say: > > In Gnome: Fedora/Preferences/CD and DVD. > > Uncheck "Mount disks when inserted" and anything else that gets in the > way. > > Enjoy! > Thankyou Chris! But I'm using kde... And I can't find a menu choice for it under preferances, settings-modules, system settings, system tools nor does there appear to be a control for it in the "control center" Sigh! I just know that when I find out where this is set I'm going to feel stupid for not thinking of it. Anybody know the KDE control that can prevent automounting/filebrowser launching from being triggered by closing the cd-rom and/or cd-rw disk tray's???? -- | ? ? | | -=- -=- I'm NOT clueless... | <?> <?> But I just don't know. | ^ Joe (theWordy) Philbrook | --- J(tWdy)P | <jtwdyp@xxxxxxxx> | ? ?
