In my experience as well. But more to the point, are the bugs you're
seeing regarding Win2k3 and Samba of the kind that would prevent this? I
mean, eventually this computer needs access to the shares same as any
computer. But in the short term sharing out its own folder would work,
so long as even this works with Win2k3.
