Thanks for the warning.  The replies seem to be running in the direction
of "the-switch-works-but-not-as-well-as-it-should" (except for your experience).  Since I'm an ex-Ham, I can't resist asking what you found
inside the box that mostly rectified the problems you were having with
the switch.
