All, I upgraded my RH9 system to Fedora Core Test 2 and now I get kernel panics that want me to try using init=. When I boot the kernel, kernel memory is free'd up and then there are two lines that refer to rw memory and an impossibly large number. I thought that the BIOS on this laptop might not be supplying the correct number for internal memory but it worked fine with the previous RH system. Exactly what is this init= looking for? -- John
