The fact that the first CD of FC2t2 didn't boot was a stroke of bad luck in the first place. According to all the comments to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=119386 many people seem to have missed this, although it is explained / pointed to by Féliciano Matias in comment #35. It's the particular location of boot.catalog in the ISO image that causes many BIOSes to choke. Not something that can be fixed, but it can be easily worked around.
