The first thing I spot is that there's no attachment ;-) How about pasting in the body of the message?

I have searched the file the only Bus ID entry is PCI:1:0:0. I have taken the liberty of attaching my XF86Config-4 file could you guys have a look and see if you spot anything unusual.

I had this problem when I attempted to use ATi's drivers with my Radeon 9000. I'm not all that impressed with their drivers, but that's another story.
I had to edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, search for the line
BusID PCI:1:0:1
and change it to
BusID PCI:1:0:0
and then restart X.
Hopefully the same will work for you.

Keita,
Could you run:
startx > ~/startx.out 2>&1
and post the output (after you reboot of course)? That'd help us to tell where the problem lies.

I have made exhausted efforts to get startx to work but I have fail in all my attempts. My PC has a Gigabyte GV-R92-128 graphics adapter, which is suppose to be the same as the Radeon 9200LE. I have tried various fixes for the last 4 weeks the most recent was using the ATI properitary drivers. After runing the rpm and setting the configuration, I tried to load startx and my screen just blanked out. My keyboard became non responsive and I had to rely on my power button to restart the system. Any assistane would be appreciated.
