I'm having trouble with the nvidia 5336.run drivers and a new geforceThanks everyone for your help,I finally got it up and running,after I reinstalled :-(( some files really got damaged trying nvidia with the .run and Livna .src.rpm's.After yum update to kernel 2188 I yum install
fx5700. It locks at the point when the splash screen should appear
then needing a hard reboot,I looked for all the drivers and (to me)
are installed,perms' to /dev/nvidia* are 666,there is 'nofb' 'acpi=off'
'apm=off' in boot args.As my card is not supported in FC 1 would that
have anything to do with it,I have tried with and without XFree86-Mesa-libGL but no difference.
I'll post the relevant logs and configs if wanted

nvidia-glx,kernel-module-nvidia then in XF86Config changed it as needed
but added "ChipID" "0x0342" in 'device' section killed X and I'm away.
