Postfix is easier to handle and there are less occasions to produce an erroneous configuration for a "part time adminstrator". The freely available documentation is better and the log entries and messages are more descriptive and self explanatory. And there are some design decisions in postfix, which minimize the risk of damage in case something is going wrong. So Red Hat's well made preparation must be modified.
