It could also be in /lib/modules/2.4.18-19.8.0/misc What I suspect is that the kernel-module-nvidia-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl-1.0.5336-0.lvn.3.1 RPM package interferes with the manual install. I suggest you decide for only one way: either the .sh script install version OR the livna.org RPM.
