It seems there are some variations in a couple of things between the two repo's. > Turns out that Sendmail/clamd/clamav-milter all had the same startup > number Ya, that's the other one. Petr's RPMs startup in the following order...clamd, freshclam, clamav-milter, sendmail and that seems to work out fine. I seem to remember seeing something in the list here a little while ago (at least I think it was this list) about the possibility of putting clamav into the distro for FC2. I don't remember much more about that at all, but it would be nice. Yes, I know it's in Extras, and perhaps I'm just dense, but I can't seem to find the rumoured big flashing neon sign that says "this way to Fedora Extras, drop this into your sources/yum.conf file to continue". Then again, it has been busy for me this week, so maybe I'm just distracted. > c) for the /etc/sysconfig/clamav-milter file. Obviously I was mistaken in thinking that the RPMs would have been very similar. I personally much prefer not bouncing mail on a virus anyway. As in "Nothing to get excited about, just step on it and sweep the bits into the bucket. It is an ugly little bugger though isn't it?" Looks like I'm going to have to add a few bits into that doc. Hopefully once it's there, wherever the doc has spread to will catch the update. > I guess that's It. So.. how's the progress with samba-vscan?? Not too well I'm sorry to report. Real life has been getting in the way this week. I'm still hoping to have something soon though. Well...I guess there's a little bit of time before the evil day star crawls it's way into the eastern sky......now where did I save those files? Ron
