Hi, Since installing Fedora Core 1 the sound is garbled/crackling on vmware using guest host Windows XP Professional. Any ideas on what might be causing the problem? I have tried the following combinations of kernel and VMWareWorkstation but continually get crackling sound: Fedora with kernel version 2.4.22-1.2115.npl and VMwareWorkstation-4.0.5-6030 Fedora with kernel verison 2.4.22-1.2174.npl and VMwareWorkstation-4.0.5-6030 Fedora with kernel verison 2.4.22-1.2174.npl and VMwareWorkstation-4.5.1-7568 After running vmware-config.pl, I started vmware and reinstalled VMWare Tools. I did not create a "New virtual machine". I used the one that was already created under RH8. I searched vmware's website but unfortunately they aren't supporting Fedora.
