Hi, I am trying to install fedora core 1 x86_64 on my new machine. The install is extremely slow. It does not get stuck at any point, but I gave up when it started to list the packages available on CD (It took more than an hour to reach this point) My config is: AMD64 3000+ 512MB PC 3200 RAM Western Digital 120GB ATA100 8MB cache ATI Radeon 9200SE Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro Motherboard (NVIDIA nforce3 150 chipset) I do not see any processes other than those associated with the install, and it say "DMA disabled" for the CD drive during install.
