Hi All,
If you edit your .vnc/xstartup in your home directory and uncomment the two lines below, you will launch vnc in your defautl session manager (gnome or kde). Works great for me.
# Uncomment the following two lines for normal desktop: unset SESSION_MANAGER exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc

Simply followed the instructions: uncommented the last line, added
my username, restarted the vncserver service and away we went. It
doesn't display a total XWindows session like Suse does, but
there's a command line and an oldfashioned-looking X session.
Best regards,

I didn't know it was there! As usual, packed with handy comments, worked it through, worked a treat. Thanks!

Have you edited the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file?
