Hi,
what are difference between Arjan's 2.6 kernel and original version from Linus? Old 2.4 redhat kernels have been hardly patched to get new drivers, more security, preemptive, low latency, capabilities, nptl and so on. What is the situation in 2.6 kernel? I'm running several audio apps which need low latency and caps on my desktop. Preemptive is better to not use in 2.6 as I googled.
