Or:

	cat 2.mpg 3.mpg 4.mpg ... > combined.mpg

after all cat is short for "conCATenate" :)

I think MPEG streams have a header of some sort. Although most players
are able to ignore headers in the middle of the stream, I'm not sure
it will work in all cases.
