Funny enough the first time i got cd writing to work in Fedora on k3b
was with the Arjan's kernel, xcdroast worked fine with kernel 2174. This
is in my grub: title Fedora Core (2.6.4-1.300)
         root (hd0,1)
         kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.4-1.300 ro root=LABEL=/ hdd=ide-cdrom rhgb
         initrd /initrd-2.6.4-1.300.img

Cool, I just looked at my grug.conf which had hdd=ide-scsi - will try it with ide-cdrom ( and install k3b which I was yumming awhile ago ).

Thanks, let see if this works :)

Always code as if the guy who ends up maintaining your code will be a
