In RH9 when I inserted my pcmcia wifi card or restarted the computer, the wifi card would automatically do an ifup ethx With Fedora I have to do it manually I noticed a slight difference in /etc/hotplug/net.agent between the two distro versions and it looks like Fedora requires a HWADDR entry in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-x info that matches the card's MAC address Could someone confirm this please
