Hi Alexander!

No problems here with signatures (Evo 1.4.50). I quite like Evolution's
handling of digital sigs with the small lock icon which when clicked
will retrieve the key from a keyserver, import and check it. Non
intrusive and I see no reason for you to not sign your messages. :-)
