Hello, I'm unable to run alsamixer: $ alsamixer alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device What's happening? I do have sound, but not in xawtv. I figured it might be a My sound card is a intel8x0 chiptset, module snd_intel8x0. I'm having tv card problems also... I can get video but I'm unable to get audio output. The autodection of my Pinnacle PCTV Studio/Rave is fine. For sound, I have an Intel 810 chipset.
