i just got xmms 1.2.10 and xmms-mp3 1.2.10 using apt.
it is not working.
whenever i play any file, it creates a wave file from mp3 file in a home
direcotry and scrollbar moves extreemely fast (indicating creation of
wav file)
what can be the problem ?
am i specifying wrong plugin? or what else ?

i solved the problem myself .. sorry for that foolish mail
my o/p plugin was diskwriter .. so wav file output to disk was happening.
now enjoying songs.. mp3s.
