uname -a
Linux fedora 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl #1 Wed Oct 29 15:42:51 EST 2003 i686 athlon
i386 GNU/Linux

after booting from the athlon kernel that i forced with an --ignorearch;

the banner on the virtual logon screens say Kernel 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl on an
i686

When I try to install additional rpms it still says
rpm -ivh kernel-module-alsa-1.0.2c-1.fr_2.4.22_1.2174.nptl.athlon.rpm
