All you need are the binary kernel-2.6.4.rpm. This is a generic kernel
and should work with any platform that for which it was complied. It
should also set itself up in GRUB automatically as this is part of the
rpm script. There are also kernels built for various levels for PC i386
any system, i586 586 and above and so on so you may want to look a bit
deeper into kernels.
