Check which modules are included in the /boo/initrd.img. I have a SCSI
card in my machine which let initrd include SCSI modules although I do
not boot from SCSI and use the adapter for my Epson scanner. If you too
not need SCSI inside the initial ram disk then you can run "mkinitd
--omit-scsi-modules".
