For security you may do this as root > with "mv /home/kent/.openoffice /root". When the install fails it ask if I want to remove it from my user account. I do so it is clear from my user account. Hmm, I did a search on openoffice and it turns out that there were four files left in residual. I removed them and now OO.org works fine.
