Thanks, Scott!

I'm learning a lot!
First that this "rpm" is very important and I should know it.

I'll follow your instruction.
Now I would like to understand why I don't have libxpcom.so while I have OpenOffice. Weren't they installed at the same time?

Thanks a lot.

Ciao,
Nino

To erase mozilla 'rpm -e mozilla' It will complain that other packages on system need mozilla. You will need to add each package to the 'rpm -e mozilla' line.

"rpm -e mozilla" gives me a:

rpm -e --nodeps mozilla will remove mozilla without checking for
dependcy issues.
Uou don't want to remove libxpcom.so if you are planning on using
openoffice .org. Use rpm options --force and --nodeps with care.
